Winning the world | Believing the Bible | Caring for the community
Connecting Wilsonville
Acts 2:46-47 (NASB)
46 Day by day continuing with one mind in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they were taking their meals together with gladness and sincerity of heart,
47 praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord was adding to their number day by day those who were being saved.
Recognizing that small groups of personal friendships provide the personal touch that everyone needs (especially in a crisis), Wilsonville Baptist Church will begin phase two of our community outreach in January, 2011. During the first two weeks of January, church and community members will be able to sign-up to join one of seven small groups that will meet for fellowship and prayer in the homes of the small group leaders, while continuing to seek Biblical instruction through traditional Sunday School, Church Training, and preaching on campus at our church. Groups will meet at various times and places, as agreed upon by group members and small group leaders, from January through May, enjoying such activities as: cook-outs, games, bowling, volleyball, or any other activities that fall within certain Biblical standards. During this first semester of small group fellowship, potential future small group leaders will emerge and meet with our staff in order to provide more opportunities for small groups to grow in fellowship during the Summer and Fall semesters of Connecting Wilsonville, 2011. Please consider joining one of the following groups:
