While we were in New York City visiting with Kerrick and his family for a few days we had been looking forward to seeing the twins that were born in January and Hudson, who is about to be two. God has blessed their faithfulness to serve in New York in their family and their church. Please pray for them as they serve.

             I am thankful to have Jeff on staff at WBC and his willingness to fill the pulpit when I am away. He always does a great job and I do not have to worry about what he is going to say. We have great leadership in the various areas of WBC that help make this church what it is. As we go through the coming weeks, we will be looking at the vision and purpose of the church. There are going to be some exciting new opportunities to take part as we move forward in doing our part to Build the Kingdom. Get ready and plan to be available to God to be a good and faithful servant.

            Invite someone to come to church with you next Sunday. Tell someone about what Jesus has done for them this week. Meet a need in someone’s life around you. Spend some time in the Bible this week and allow God to speak to your heart. Take time to worship God as He works in your life each day. Call someone who is sick or cannot leave home. Make the time to do something to show the love of Christ to those around you. I look forward to being back with you next week.
