The wedding is over and we survived.  It is amazing the energy that goes into an event like this.  We have been totally exhausted from the preparation and the actual event.  Our lives have been changed as we take another step in life that we thought would be further down the road.  I am thankful for the gift God has given us in Savannah and the new partner she has for life in Hunter.  Please join us in praying for them as they grow together in a marriage given to God.

Life is always changing, and it goes by so fast.  Leigh Ann and I have been married for 21 years.  Savannah is married and Payton is almost 17.  We have had the privilege to serve at WBC for the past 12 years.  It all seems like yesterday.  There is so much to do and so little time to do it. 

Too many times we sit around and think about what we should have done yesterday, last month, or last year.  Worry comes in when we begin to think too much about tomorrow, next week, or next year.  The Bible tells us that our concern is for today.  We cannot change yesterday and tomorrows worries may never come about.  There is plenty to do today.  The fields are white for the harvest. 

Don’t let today pass you by.  Tell someone about Jesus and His love.  Let’s get to doing Kingdom work and reach this area for Jesus.  As Kerrick let us know Sunday evening, less that 50% of Shelby county citizens are in church on Sunday.  They need to hear the message.  They need to see that Jesus is real in our lives, in our homes, in WBC.  Life is changing faster than we realize.  Let’s make a difference today.
