World Changers was both a new and wonderful experience for me. I must admit that even though I was very excited about going on this trip, I was very nervous about performing hard, physical labor during a hot, Mississippi summer. However, I honestly surprised myself at how much I enjoyed serving others in this way. Even more, I found myself amazed at how hard and willingly the youth worked to serve in several different capacities. They worked extremely hard all day, and when the work was done, they roamed the neighborhoods sharing the love of Christ. Not only did our youth share a Christ-like attitude with the community of Tupelo, but also with the other World Changers participants. No matter how exhausted or how weary they were, they always had a positive attitude, and they constantly encouraged each other. This World Changers trip proved what an incredible impact youth can have in spreading the news of Christ.
