Laying Sod for the New Church Parking Lot

Saturday 15, 2007, Wilsonville Baptist Youth and the senior adults woke up early to be at the new church parking lot at 8:30 a.m., if not earlier. Piles of sod were just waiting on us to be laid down.
It was very hard work, but we all had fun working together. After a few hours, it started raining, but that didn't stop us.

Who says you can't have fun working in the rain?

We all pushed hard to finish off the last piles of sod. When we finished, you could see the relief and the happiness in everybody's faces. We worked from 8:30 a.m. to about 12:30 p.m., and it was worth the hard work!
